Yes, they'll be able to marry and then rudely have that right stolen away from them by people who have no business taking it away. Heartbreaking. :(

There is some interesting conundrumity in the point that if you let people marry on the basis of who they love, you have to start questioning why love is restricted to a pair, rather than other numbers, and...oh, wait I'm in a comic. ... Flapjacks.
